Army “brothers” of fallen soldier step in for photoshoot with his newborn baby

U.S. Army Spc. Chris Harris was k il le d in Afg h a n i stan just one week after finding out his wife Britt was expecting their first child. So she decided to include her husband’s fellow soldiers in some important milestones. “CBS Evening News” anchor Jeff Glor explains.

This sweet girl has a platoon of uncles that will ensure she is never without a loving father figure! She’s blessed even in this tragedy. May she grow to be as strong and loving as her father and family.

That photo of all the hands holding her up with what I’m assuming is her dads tags around her neck, made me start crying so fast I don’t know where it came from. Absolutely incredible.

This is the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen. This gave me goosebumps. She is so adorable, she looks just like her daddy. May God wrap his loving arms around you both forever.

So sad for there loss. So much respect for all his brothers to be there for the 2 ladies. All you military members are so damn special. We appreciate every one of you!

This is what you call real brotherhood. Also, I love how all the soldiers got excited with the pink gender reveal. Typically, men get more excited with the blue confetti, but they were just as excited. Rest In Peace Chris and thank you.
